How does one go to the very source of thought ? J. Krishnamurti

Jiddu Krishnamurti  was a philosopher, speaker and writer. In his early life he was groomed to be the new World Teacher but later rejected this mantle and withdrew from the Theosophy organization behind it. His subject matter included psychological revolution, the nature of mind, meditation, inquiry, human relationships, and bringing about radical change in society.

” true understanding is possible only when we are fully conscious of our thought, not as an operative observer on this thought, but completely and without the intervention of a choice.” – Jiddu Krishnamurti

How does one go to the very source of thought so that there is a possibility of silencing the thinking process itself?
